About Heiniger Clippers
The Heiniger family name represents a lineage spanning three generations in the production of top-notch Swiss-made animal shearing and clipping equipment. Initially, the Heiniger company engaged in the trade of fruits and vegetables in 1946. However, under the guidance of Hermann Heiniger, the great-uncle, and Werner Heiniger, the father, the business transformed into a renowned manufacturer and global trader specializing in animal fiber harvesting equipment.
For professional shearers, nothing but the highest quality equipment suffices. The Heiniger name has emerged as a prominent leader in the manufacturing and distribution of professional sheep shearing and clipping equipment, owing to its close proximity to key markets such as Australia, the UK, and New Zealand. This success is attributed to the incorporation of Swiss technology, renowned for its engineering prowess and precision manufacturing.
Since 1965, Heiniger's animal shearing and clipping equipment has established itself as the benchmark for quality, precision, and reliability. The products are conceived and manufactured in Herzogenbuchsee, located in the heart of Switzerland. Regardless of the geographical location or the animals involved—whether it's sheep, cattle, camelids, horses, goats, or small domestic pets—countless animals worldwide are shorn, clipped, and groomed daily using Heiniger's "Made in Switzerland" products.
