At Victoria Sharpening, we specialize in scissor sharpening, clipper blade sharpening, clipper and dryer repairs, and knife sharpening. We’re proud to serve professionals and hobbyists throughout Victoria, B.C. and beyond. We are certified to sharpen Kokoro and Shark Fin shears, ensuring the highest standard of performance and care.
Kokoro shears embody generations of skill and tradition. As Canada’s only authorized retailer, we’re proud to bring these exceptional tools to stylists who appreciate true craftsmanship.
Kokoro is often translated simply, but its meaning runs deeper: heartfelt attention, something truly from the heart.
For over 30 years, Kokoro has stood for quality, integrity, and value. We believe great shears don’t need hype or gimmicks, just exceptional performance, reliability, and honest craftsmanship.
Designed for professional stylists, Kokoro Shears are made to help you work more comfortably and confidently. We use genuine Japanese stainless steel and a proprietary vacuum heat-treatment and cryogenic tempering process to ensure lasting sharpness, strength, and durability.
Because your tools directly impact your livelihood, we remain committed to the spirit of Kokoro: from the heart. By importing directly and maintaining close relationships with our customers and distributors, we deliver outstanding quality and value you can trust.
We are trained and certified by The American Sharpening Institute in Minnesota — one of the top sharpening schools in the U.S.
