Victoria Sharpening is a locally owned sharpening business run by husband-and-wife team Valerie and David. We proudly serve professionals and hobbyists throughout Victoria, and Canada.

We specialize in scissor and shear sharpening, clipper blade sharpening, clipper and dryer repairs, and knife sharpening. From beauty and grooming professionals to industrial users and home cooks, we provide precise, reliable sharpening tailored to each tool.

We sharpen all types of scissors and shears, including bevel and convex edge styles, using professional equipment to achieve the correct angle for a long-lasting edge. Clipper blades are thoroughly cleaned, precision-ground, reassembled, lubricated, and tested to ensure smooth, even performance. Knife sharpening is performed using professional Friedrich Dyck machines to restore a sharp, durable edge. (Serrated knives not serviced.)

Victoria Sharpening is trained and certified by The American Sharpening Institute and is the Certified Sharpener and Canadian Distributor for Kokoro Hair Shears and Shark Fin Shears.
